Default V-10 headers

Has anyone ever put a set of headers on their V-10? I have an '02 with 3" exhaust, no catalytic converter, & super 40 series Flowmasters. And it sounds awesome but, I know these V-10's are a different breed and when you start playing around with them, you never know what they might sound like when you're done. My buddy put a performance y-pipe on his and it made his sound like s**t. So my question is, is it worth the money, and will it change the way my truck sounds? I pull a 6000 lb. boat, a mud truck, & a 6500 lb. camper. (not a the same time)
