Default Torque Strut

The rubber piece in the torque strut is broken. Has anyone found a good price on a replacement? Ford price is $400. Lowest price I have found is $200. On a volvo, you can replace the rubber insert. On a Ford 500, you must replace the whole strut.

Default Need some tools but you can do it

I replaced mine a while ago. I bought it from O'Reilly Auto Parts for around $30. You will have to hacksaw the broken one out and press the new one in with some c-clamps. There is a whole discussion out there on replacing it. If you get the replacement part you don't have to modify it just cut the old out and press in the new one.
