Default Rear Upper Control Arm removal

Does anyone know the procedure for removing the rear upper control arm? I need to replace the bushing/control arm but there is not enough space to get the forward bolt out of the control arm. Do I need to cut the grade 10 bolt or do I need to drop the whole axle assembly. Or am I a moron and there is an easier way. Please fill me in!
BTW this is a 2010 flex with ecoboost and AWD that has been bleeding me dry this month.

I tried searching and could not find anything so I apologize if this has been done before...

Well as it turns out you do have to remove the whole assembly. I did it one side at a time with a jack and a stand. It wasn't as bad as it sounds. There are essentially two bolts that have to come off and they attach the suspension to the body of the car. The subframe connection bolts are torqued to 111ft/lb and 147 ft/lb. then just pry between the subframe and the suspension assembly to get the 4" bolt out of the 2" space. Hope this helps someone.
