Default noise

Hi I have 2005 freestar 4.2L

Getting a vibration noise in the engine conparment when temps are 30 degrees and below. I will hear it after 10 min after startup.

Sounds like it's comming from belt are but then going around the car you can hear it near the radiator and near rear of trans.
Will get worse with engine speed.

Will go away after engine get to operating temp.

Anyone had this issue

To be honest it sounds like a clutch issue.

The sound you are hearing is the pilot shaft basically flopping around in the pilot bearing. It is resonating from the transmission to the harmonic balancer (the largest pulley on the front of the engine AKA the crank). After driving, the metal will heat up and expand just enough to stop the noise. It could be such a slight problem that you may or may not feel anything in the way the car handles while driving. There may be a slight vibration in the car while you are driving though.
