2004 Freestar ac hose question
Hi All, I just purchased a used 2004 Freestar 3.9 with 145,000 miles. The guy I got it from said the ac worked, and it was blowing cold for a few days. Now it is hot and so I took it to my mechanic. There is a leak in the hose that goes between the compressor to the condenser. This van has ac switches above the bench seat in the back so I know that matters in selecting the correct hose. Can anyone tell me the exact part number for this ac hose? I have come across two part numbers (one starts with the number 3, and the other starts with the number 6). I can't afford to pay the local Ford "stealership" their ridiculous price so i am trying to source a more affordable one. I would imagine the guy who sold it to me got one of those refill cans and that is why it blew cold when we got it. I guess the good news is that since it blew cold (when filled with the Freon) then the compressor is probably OK. The seller is long gone so I have no recourse there. Any ac guru's here? Also, the drivers window won't go down, but the passenger one works fine. And neither side mirrors works. Is there a fuse to check? Oh, and sometimes not all the doors unlock when I use the remote. Thanks in advance for all help and advice

Double check the part number below, but I believe this is the one that you want.
3F2Z-19D850-AD - Genuine Ford TUBE - COMPRESSOR TO
Are you sure it's the hose that's leaking and not one of the O-Rings at the connection points? O-Rings are a lot cheaper and easier to replace. You'll need new ones for a hose install and just make sure you lube them with compressor oil before installing.
