Unloaded it and went to unlatch the bungie from the rear door and I'm standing there looking at the handle in my hand. Since the door was already open, I was back in business in about 15 minutes.
How were you done in 10 minutes?

I just had the same exact thing happen. Handle came off in my hand. Can someone please send me a schematic so I can repair it? Thank you in advance!

Default How open the

the handle falling off got me searching for solutions on the internet and led me to this form.

First off, thanks for sharing the wealth of information on here!

Secondly, now that (I think) I know how to take the inside cover off ; and put the latch back on - thanks to the diagrams posted on here. How do I actually get the trunk hatch to open without the handle? I have power liftgate and tried using a flathead screwdriver to "pull the lever" through the outside holes (where the handle fell off). however, the hatch doesn't seem to want to open.

I appreciate any and all input on how to go about opening the hatch without the latch.

Thanks
Paul

Default Posting Personal Emails

Hey guys - posting your personal email addresses here is a very bad idea. PM someone if you want information provided directly or follow the links provided in the previous posts (there have been HUNDREDS) in order to find the information on you seek on liftgate (and other) fixes.

Placing your personal email in these forums will fill your email inbox with SPAM which is something, I must assume, you do not want.
