Cold start with immediate stall
Just thought this may help somebody.
I recently ran into a cold start issue with my 04' Limited where it would start and idle fine for the most part even when the temps were down to -17°. But then again, every once in a while it would not idle at all, but stall out immediately upon starting unless you gave it some throttle. Then while holding the RPMs at about 1000 RPMs, it would then kick up to about 1200 RPMs (Normal cold start RPM) signalling to me that the IAC had just opened up. I cleaned the IAC with no change in status. I replaced the IAC with a new unit, and all has been fine for the past month.
