Rear power vent motor replacement
Does anyone know how to disconnect the rear vent window motor from the vent window? Mine only open on one side and not the other. The other only works part time ans sticks open or closed. Just need how to disconnect the motor from the window.

Usually one or the other will "HANG" on my Freestar once or twice a year. It's always in the "Closed" position and will not open. I found that just spraying the "Ball & Socket" joints, motor and the other moving parts with silicone spray, toggle the switch a few times and all is good till the next time.

Done as you said, Use Common Sense, the one on the drivers side started working really well and decided it did not want to play fair and started stoppin and starting or nothing at all. The passengers side is really, really sluggish and I had to take a pair of channel locks and help it open and close, and even then it would only open part of the way open. Own it's own. I gave up after a while, was worried it would not retract back in.
Any other ideas or do you think that warrents replacements?

If you use them quite often, it's possible that the cute little motors are worn out and tired, or the grease in the motors are gummed up. Replacement may be your best option at this time. My way would be to tear them apart to see if you can fix it. If you can't, you had to replace it anyways.
