Default Fuel pump wiring

Hi all. Not-so-proud owner of a 2007 Freestyle here. I'm trying to troubleshoot a fuel supply issue. I was lucky enough to find the access panels to the fuel pumps so I didn't have to drop the tank. There are 4 wires going to each pump. I'm trying to determine if I have power to the pumps but not sure which wire is which. Can anyone help me out? Thank you

There are 2 things you might try, the first is the owner's manual. It will tell you which fuses supply power to the fuel pump, (s)?
The second path you might try is locate the inertia switch and tap into the wires there and observe if you have power there when you first turn the key on (for 2 seconds) and also when cranking the engine. You need to be careful because there is a fuel pump module in the rear of the vehicle that sends power to the fuel pump when directed by the PCM (computer) and the absence of power directly at the fuel pump could be because of the fuel pump module.

It is a common problem to have a poor ground connection for the pump and many pumps are replaced when not really necessary.
