Question on engine removal (07 Milan, 2.3L)
I'm replacing the 2.3L engine on my '07 Milan.
I'm having to take the engine out of the top because I can't drop the subframe due to a stripped balljoint bolt. That being said, is it easier to take out the engine with the tranny, or disconnect the transmission and take the engine out by itself?
I found this guide, but there are some things that are different that are causing pain: Mazda 6 and Ford Fusion 2.3L Engine Swap | Happy Wrenching
I also found this video which is the reason I am even questioning it:
I am also having some trouble taking the exhaust manifold out. Any suggestions on it?
Thanks in advance!
