Question P0401 Code Error & Dashboard Light Out

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT. I have a couple issues. First, I have a code reader and ran it when the check engine light came on. I got a P0401 (Exhaust Gas Recirc. Flow Insufficient Detected) error that came back. In my internet searches I heard that the most common issue is that the DPFE sensor needs replacement. I heard this is an easy fix, but I don't know where it's located in my truck. I would like to try and fix it myself if in fact it is an easy fix. So, need help in locating it and how to fix it.

Second, one of my dash lights looks to be out. I noticed it a few days back when I went driving at night. Is this a fairly easy fix as well? If so, how do I go about changing the light?

Thanks,

David
