I have a 1998 Mercury Sable and the radio is not working, it turns on but all of the stations are fuzzy. The clock and the climate controls work. It is as if the anntennae is not working or unplugged, however I checked the anntennae and the fuses and are all fine. Any help?

 

I still think you have an antenna problem. If the antenna is making any kind of contact to ground the signal is grounded out. Check for water or any type of corrosion where the antenna is mounted to the vehicle there should be no kind of contact between the center wire and the mounting.

 

I will check that. On my way home I flipped to AM and was able to pick a local talk station with no problems. Thanks for the reply!
