My 98 Taurus doesn't seem to get power to the starter when I turn the key. First thought was that the battery was low, so I tried jumping. Still nothing happened when I tried to start it. Then I took the key out with the jump cables still hooked up. That's when I started hearing a click come from the steering column about every second. I tries starting it in neutral too and nothing. What could it be.
