Default Evap canister help

Hi Guys!

Got a bit of a problem. My daughter said she was driving her 2003 Taurus and back over something then on the way home heard something dragging under the car. When she got home, she said there was something hanging under the car. I go out and look and see a couple of hoses and an electrical part hanging under the rear of the car. Upon further inspection, I see that the entire evap canister assembly is gone and all that is left is the purge solenoid (hanging from the wire) and the 2 hoses.

What all do I need to get to put it all back together? The solenoid is missing the hose fitting that's supposed to be on the end of it. There are no fittings left on the hoses. I know I need the canister itself and the cover.

Should I just go to a u-pull-it junkyard and pull everything?

Thanks,
Jim

Thumbs up

Welcome to the site Jim..

If you can find used replacements, it would certainly save some coin over OEM..
