IAT 2007 taurus
I need to locate the IAT sensor on my taurus. I have a hesitation in my car when the outside air is warm, and it doesn't hesitate when the air is below 55 or so. I was told the IAT can cause this. Any ideas. also how do I test it?

If you have a multimeter, set on the resistance scale, the resistances of the coolant temp sensor and the intake air temp sensor should be within a few ohms of one another when checked on a cold engine (before it is started ).
As long as you are going to be near it , you might check the cleanliness of the throttle butterfly and if covered with carbon and oil clean that off as well.
