Default 1996 ford thunderbird vacuum issue

Hello,

Recently I had a problem with the AC system which I fixed but during the search I think I created a vacuum problem.

I removed the vacuum hoses from the backside of the manual ac selector switch on the dash for a few days until I located my electrical issue but since then the vacuum is not working right even though I have checked my connection at the switch.

The cruise control no longer works and the car is sometimes hard to start.

Any ideas ?
All help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

In the process of removing and reinstalling the vacuum lines, it might be a good idea to start in the engine compartment from the intake manifold on down to the vacuum canister and the vacuum line that goes into the inside of the vehicle to make sure one of them has not been disconnected accidentally.
