Default 4.6L TIMING CHAIN

CAN ANY BODY TELL ME IF THE 4.6 IS A N INTERFERENCE MOTOR? MY 95 BIRD HAS 192,000 AND I DONT THNK ITS EVER BEEN CHANGED. I BOUGHT IT FOR 150. BUCKS AT A LEAN SALE AND TRIED STARTING IT IT WAS WANTING TO FIRE BUT COULDNT GET IT TO GO ABOUVE 1000 RPMS THEN IT DIES. WHEN IT DID FIRE UP IT SOUNDED LIKE CHAIN SLAP THEN DIED TRIED AGIAN TO FIRE IT UP AND IT JUST SPUN FREE LIKE THE CHAIN HAD JUMPED OR SKIPPED. ANY INFO ON THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Yes, this is an interference motor. Off by two teeth and you start doing damage.
