Question how to?

I want to strip the clear coat off my car. It's peeling and
I have plans to re-paint it, But I gotta get rid of the clear coat
first. Any ideas?

Sanding is the best option. Sand off the loose stuff and a couple coats of high build primer and you're ready to go.

Clear is blowing off my Bird too, cars too dang fast! I'm only keeping it around for my daughter to learn to drive in. Its the oldest one in my fleet so it draws the most hazardous mission. If she wrecks it then it's done, I'm not fixing it.

if it,s peeling see if you can take a sharp single edge razor blade and get all you can off of it , then sand the rest off ! i did that on a oldsmobile once !
