Ford Thunderbird Starting in the 1950s, this was a classic American sports cars, from the compact original of the 1950s, to the muscular hard top coupes of the 1980s and 1990s to the retro look of the 2003 model year, this car is, and always will be, an American classic.

Question Slow to respond?

I have a 94 T-Bird, 4.6 L, Fuel Injected nice machine, lately I noticed that when I drive off it dosen't respond right away. I have to ease off on the pedal and slowly press it to gain speed. Once I'm on the road it's ok. I changed the fuel filter still the same, anyone have any ideas? are the injectors clogged? any help is greatly appreciated.

My friend had the same problem. He replaced the distributor cap and it went away.

Question I gots the same prob.

Hay, I have the same prob. on a 96 Crown Vic. So far I changed the fuel pump, filter, Idle air motor, and park plugs. "NO CHANGE". If anybody has a cure, PLEASE, PM me and post up here.
