Default 2004 Explorer Keyless Entry Keypad Code?

Just purchased a 2004 Explorer and they didn't know the keypad code. Itdidn't come with an owners manual either. Just wondering if there is a master code that someone might now. Thanks

I am not sure, but if you need the owners manual, you can download it from here
https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

I have read on sites there is a sticker somewhere with the code, but I don't know where.

Well, if nothing has changed over the years too drastically (haven't looked in an Explorer for about 4 years) and the jack is still located on the left side, just remove the plastic cover for the jack/handle. Look back inside behind the panel. You should see a module mounted up inside there. On the module is a label. On the label are some numbers. The 5 largest numbers are the 5 digit factory numbers for the key pad. Sometimes these are hard to see the way they are mounted.

Thanks for the suggestions. On these newer years, there isn't a place to find it other than in the owners book.(Which mine didn't come with) I took it back to the dealer and he had to hook it up to the computer to retrieve it.

Since they sold you the vehicle, I hope they didn't charge you for the code retrieval. They should have provided it to begin with.
