Hi I am new to this Forum. I just bought a 2004 F150 V8 5.4 SuperCab XLT and I am wondering if it came with a Tilt Lever cause I can't move the sterring wheel up or down there is no tilt lever. I am sure it doesn't have the Tilt lever but would you guys know if the XLT is supposed to come with it, or its just broken that is why I don't see it. Please advice me I would greatly appreciate it. IT SHOULD BE TO LEFT BOTTOM OF THE STEERING COLUMN THEY DO HAVE APROBLEM OF FALLING OFF LOOK AND SEE IF THERS ASQUARE TYPE HOLE WHERE IT WOULD GO THROUGH IH THE TRUCK IS UNDER 36000 MILES IT WOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY IF ITS MISSING HOPE THIS HELPS

 

2004 f150 supercab XLT: went to dealer (Grande Ford) San Antonio to have fuel filter replaced 30k mls yesterday, got home and tilt lever is lying on the floor, should have known when it took an hour to locate my truck, luckily I have a week left on warranty. got the leak in the third (roof) brake light as well, Don't know if they really even changed filter or just wiped it off. Anybody know labor time to repair tilt lever? Stay Away from Grande Ford!!
