Ford Focus vs Ford Escape power steering

Ford Focus vs Ford Escape power steering
Does someone know if the power steering in a ford escape is easier than in a ford focus? I am disabled and can only steer with one hand and cant very esaily test drive a car.
I have been driving a 2009 ford focus for about 2 years now after trading in my old ford Explorer. At first it was ok, but I think the steering is fairly harder in the focus than what I remember in the Explorer.
I am thinking of trading in my 2009 ford focus for a 2010 ford escape now. I am concerned though that the steering will be about the same. The steering in my focus is is very stressful for me since im only 100lbs and have to drive with one hand.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
