fried coil packs

Default fried coil packs

okay here`s the story,91 ford aerostar 4.0l allwheel drive.last week coil went out had it towed to shop and mechanic said 2 of the plugs werent firing cuz of the coil pack,had mechanic instal new ciol pack.drove all week then it died today removed new coil it was cracked and leaking ,mechanic exchanged for new coil,i instaled new coil drove 2 miles and new coil melted and cracked and filled van w/smoke.there are NO codes and van isnt over charging.ANY IDEAS guys??????????????[:@]

Check the voltage at the coil pack, if that is good, suspect the ICM is bad causing over current.
