Default FS: *HELP* My HID system WONT STOP FLICKERING!!!

Hey guys,

I bought a set of h13 bixenons a few days ago, and it was fine the first day, than it starts flickering. I live in victoria BC, and the weather here has been bad lately and i really do need my lights to be working. Any pointers on what i can do?

I bought it back to the shop were i bought them from, they tested it and it was fine so i cant get a refund for my lights. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thank you so much in advance

Suspect you have a problem with the voltage regulator that controls the alternator output.

Unfortunately an alternator output test will not indicate any problem in this case because the alternator is charging, however, the lights do indicate a voltage regulation problem.
The only way I know to correct that problem is to replace the alternator if the voltage regulator is in it. You didn't state the year of the vehicle , some of the very latest years have the voltage controlled by the computer.
