Default Let's talk about exhaust systems

When it comes to an exhaust system, it’s really hard to determine whether its quality, power, or sound is of more importance, as only a perfect combination of these features will result in a product that is the most effective for your vehicle. A quality exhaust will help your vehicle perform to its fullest potential by letting exhaust gases flow freely, and increase horsepower and torque by 7-10%. We are the authorized dealer of the most reputable names in this industry. Manufactures like Borla, MagnaFlow, Flowmaster & MBRP offer quality exhaust systems that provide better flow, performance and sound. The average car enthusiast has become accustomed to associating the sound of a car with its exhaust. The most common aftermarket exhaust system is the cat-back system. This term is used to describe an exhaust system that attaches to a catalytic converter and runs to the rear of the vehicle. This style is best for those who prefer to work on their own vehicle. In most applications it includes mandrel bent piping, clamps, and a muffler. And we are here to show you several options we have for 2014 Ford F-150. To view all exhausts we have for your model, you can click here: Ford Custom Exhaust Systems

I am not that familiar with your particular engine, but some things are common to all diesel engines. You must start with the fuel filter since diesels will not tolerate dirty fuel or fuel that has water in it. When you remove the fuel filter be prepared to dump the fuel out onto a clean light colored surface to look for water or water droplets and any kind of sediment. That is what the filter is supposed to remove and when it can't do it's job anymore ,it will not allow fuel to pass through. If you see that problem you have two choices, either keep changing filters or remove the tank and clean it out.
Depending on what you find in the filter if all is good just crack open one or two of the lines from the pump to the injectors while someone is cranking the engine over. Eventually some fuel should shoot out the loosened nut on the line , keep your hands away and wear safety glasses. If no fuel comes out there could be a defective fuel shut off solenoid, if that engine has one, or the pump may be defective. First, let's see what you get after you replace the fuel filter again.
