Default off road van

Hi i,m Wolfdad I have a 96 E-150 high top conversion I'm currently looking to convert to 4 wheel drive. I am hoping to find some people who have done this conversion to explore the front end options I would like to do TTB instead of solid axle for better ride quality as the only real off road this van will see is driving on the beach in the outer banks in North Carolina so any advice or help would be great.

I'm a rather new member. Found some good info re Throttle Position Sensor for 7.3L diesels.

Ford wants to sell you the entire accelerator pedal assembly for =-$350.00.
U. S. Auto Parts, 800-913-6127, will sell just the TPS for about $50.00!!! It takes about 3 minutes to change. I called a garage and they wanted 2 hours labor plus the 350. Ouch!!

Symptoms are unwillingness to hold a steady speed while in cruise control, pushing accelerator down and getting no throttle response. I suffered with this for far to long when I consider the part cost and time involved.

Be sure to be VERY SPECIFIC when ordering as the needed part is physically the same as the same part for the various gas rigs but internally different.

Hi Everybody,
Steve in Tennessee here. Have a 93 E-250 extended length and wondered if anybody knew of a source for the fiberglass high tops they install on van conversions? The van is in top shape and worth considering such a modification. Thanks, Steve

If any 7.3 owners are having problems with engine maintaining speed in cruise control or accelerator pedal pressure not resulting in rpm increase; I have at least one answer. Throttle Position Sensor being bad also messes up shift points in the auto trans. Ford wants $350.00 for entire assembly U. S. Auto Parts (800-913-6127) has just the sensor for $50.00+-

Default cruise control lights on f-150 truck steering wheel

Can anyone tell me if the cruise control switches on the steering wheel of a 2010 F-150 are suppose to light up?
I can't operate my cruise control at night without turning the dome lights on.

So...let me understand this; you prefer Mustangs because they are more difficult to race? I suppose you prefer sex while standing in a hammock too.
