Hey my friend is thinking aobut buying an older f150 (1990) for the 300cc six and the C6 trans. i was going to put the 302 and AOD from my crown vic in there.... Is this feasable. what do i need to account for and what should i take into consideration....

computer, wiring,driveshaft , if i was to do it id stick with the c-6 with a high stall converter more fun

you'll need the complete engine wiring harness and computer from your Vic, also need motor mounts and the front crossmember for a v-8 instead of a v-6, complete exhaust from the manifolds back, maybe a new transmission mount and rear crossmember, bigger fuel pump probably, and possibly a bigger radiator to handle the v-8. all that and some sweat equity on your part! LOL

Just joined the forum, doin 300 to 302 swap in my '94 150 ; you'll need frame mounts,engine mounts,wiring harness,and computer.you can get frame mounts at your local salvage yard,motor mount from any parts store. You should be able to get harness from the yard also,make sure its about the same year; use the computer from the Vic
