I am thinking about buying a 2500 size truck but want to do some research before buying. Any info would be great!

i have 2004 6.o turbo disiel lost the trany with 1700 miles

The 6.0 is the newest motor, correct? Do you have the Allison tranny? That scares me about the tranny!!
Have you heard reports of anyone elses tranny failing?
