replaced clutch, press plate on 2001 mustang, used my old throw out bearing because new one was plastic and i broke the plastic lip while putting the tranny back in. My problem is the clutch will not catch until the clutch pedal is almost all way out. I know i'm low on trans fluid from the loss while taking trans out, but would this loss cause what i've described? easier to replace fluid if this is the problem than to pull the trans out again. thanks

You need to replace the throw out bearing every time you change the clutch. That could be your problem or be a problem.
