I have a minor problem that when I go to use the windshield wipers, sometimes they don't work and other times they do. It's kinda like they work when they want to. Could be be a short somewhere in the wiper motor? I don't really want to replace the wiper motor if I don't have to. Ideas?

It does sound like you have a short in the wiper motor. Depending on the weather, usually rain....LOL....sometimes my wipers will not turn on, but when it's dry they work fine of course. How's the on/off switch?

I would also check the switch that turns them on.

Well, I check the switch, and that seems to be fine, is there a way to test the motor?
