My 98 Expedition has recently developed the nasty habit of having a total electrical shutdown ( ie: driving along then dash guages stop working and all electrical systems systematically shutdown then engine quits). It has happened 2 times now - both days it was cold (-15C) . On both occasions if you took out the keys and let it sit for awhile it would behave normally again. New battery, new alternator - so power supply isn't the issue. Any insights would be welcome..
