I hope I can get some help on this matter I have a 01 sports trac and I keep having trouble with the brakes it was in the shop just about two mounts ago and this time the brakes dont hold when stopping at traffic lites and while going down hill does anyone have any Idea? thanks

Sometimes the rubber brake hoses can deteriorate on the inside and act like a "one way" causing fluid not to push through the line. This can cause them not to hold, or even cause them to sieze up like a frozen caliper.

What did they do the first time?  I believe my 02 needs new roters and I will replace the shoes too.

BTW....  My first post here
