I changed my distributor cap and button and the problem might have lessened slightly but not anything I would call a marked improvement.
Incidentally, I degreased the engine yesterday and with the engine soaked I turned the car on to test my 'humid air' theory (per my previous post) and the engine ran horribly. In fact, it ran exactly like when the air is very humid. Ignition problem? You read my mind. I'm replacing the plug wires tomorrow but after that I can't figure anything that would have the engine running as such when it's wet if not something directly related to the firing of the cylinders.

I could really use some advice here.

Thanks,
Ryan.

Could be wiring or fusible link frying. Bad ground? Always inspect - plug wires for burning or antifreeze dropped on them (shorts them out - wash outer casing w/soap 'n water), terminal ends for blueish corrosion (water adds to that problem).
