Van Engine Dies While Driving - 2/2/2005 6:11:53 PM    Kim   Posts: 2 Score: 0 Joined: 2/2/2005 Status: offline 1987 Econoline van 6 cylinder silently went dead while driving - no warning, no noise. Managed to drift off to side of the road. Tried to turn over, but wouldn't. Waited 10 minutes turned over and drove approx. 5 miles - did same again; waited 10 mins. drove 5 miles - did same again over and over for very long 25 miles to get home. Any ideas?
