Just wondering if anyone could tell me which plugs/wires they were able to use in their focus. I have a 2000 DOHC and keep being given the wrong plugs. Also has anyone found a wire set that wasn't $70? We were using Bosch in my other car, and wouldn't mind sticking with it, but at this point, anything will do.

I use Autolite Double Platium. I have used Bosch platiums + 2 and they ran too hot so I switched to Autolites. I have Autolite spark plug wires. A note on the spark plug boots: Watch out for the seal it makes around the top of the engine. If they don't seal properly, water can gather around the spark plug and cause a misfire. This problem happened to me after driving 2 hours in a heavy rain.

thanks! we ended up buying NGK ones because that's all anyone had for under $18 a piece, that actually looked like the ones we took out of the car. Thanks for the heads up about the wires!
