what does your car or truck or Suv run on the track or on the street.... stock.....modified whatever... Just want to see what are Fords can run out here espaily havn't heard much from you truck world....*anyone know any sites about 80's truck let me know mombofan1@aol.com* also this Thread can be about what you think why is your ford mustang better then a Chevy camaro... Why is your Ford F150 better then a ram? or why isn't it just anything you got on your mind.... Proff to back it up would be nice...... Thanks Nick

I had a 1985 Ford thunderbird 5.0 liter It wasn't very nice I raced a 4.6 liter and it was faster then me..... What is up with this guys come on.... I have a dodge caravan aswell....It can beat winstars and is much more lugserious.....I have a Toyota camry I will have to say the Tauras is much better.... Just try'n to get some stuff going here..

I see no one is into this well if anyone does deciede to say something then okay but I am now thinking what should I get.....Ford F-150....around 88-91 or same years Dodge Ram.......Let me know why or why not come on lets get this convo started!~

I have a 95 1-ton, and at Baton Rouge Raceway Mine ran 18teens. Its all stock with 223000 mi on it, Im not sure its time slip is true, It can outrun a 04 chevy 1500 at any speed, but only runs beside the Hemi.

4.7l in my dakota I can beat any 5.4L stock on stock out there.
351M in my 77 I get beatt by just about everything up there... unless we start at 100km's then well... I have a tendancy to fly.

2500 99 Cummins Turbo diesel. Slighly moded, Banks turbo upgrade with exhaust and chip. I beat everything from 5.0l's to 350z's after about 200meters.

Truck ran 11.2 at 141mp/h last time I had it on the track... since then did an injector pump and new injectors.

Dyno'd at 686hp at 1840pm and 798ft/lbs at 1600rpm

Running 24lbs boost.

erm... 1986 Rx7 Turbo II swap done on it.. 15000dollar motor in it... 540hp out of that. sold for 11k.

yeah... I'm a menace on the street... I like jolting around.

i dont have much, just a '03 f 150 single cab, 4.2 lt. v-6 with cold air, flowmaster with turn downs and headers. last ran at state capital dragway, it was 15.2 at 94 mph. not too shabby for v-6. i know i hooked with a buddy of mine in a 4 door ram, 4.7 lt., and i out ran him by 3 cars, have not raced a hemi yet, i would like too thoiugh.

Jusy got rid of my 04 mach1 13.6 new 12.9 when I traded it in.
Just picked up a 84 gt350 for the next toy. Prolly runs a 20 sec 1320 now . Haha Gotta get another motor in it.

expect to be 3-4lengths behind. That Hemi is hot off the shelf man. I got an '06 charger with the Hemi in it, I can beat all mustangs off the lot. Includig that done up ugly roush one. and the Vettes I do a damn fine job making them see my mirror at any speed. That Hemi's just an amazing motor and the Charger is the ultimate Modern Muscle car. intergrading Power and performance with style and luxury.

I guess I should specify a little more about my Hemi. Nothing done to it, 14000km's on it Premium fuel eating SRT-8, black with tan leather interior.

I like Hemi engines but I can't say as much for the cars body - I don't like 'em much. I do like the look of a newer V-6 Mustang I saw though. Too bad Ford has joined the government and girlie bandwagon and cut the power on their muscle cars. The T-birds used to rule Daytona and the NASCAR circuit - now they barely exist. I was just getting ready to see some better motors and revamped styling. I wish they'd stop trying to come up with silly names like Focus and Fusion and concentrate on the cars. Anyhow as far as a 5.0 not beating a 4.6 - something is definitely wrong there. I also gotta' mention my old '76 Ford Elite whch ran 11's and 12's stock with a 351W and 2 barrel carb (and that was my crappier one). If you aren't running 10's in a smaller car with a V-8 then you ain't trying. I had 20 feet of car to get rolling. Of course it held the road better than anything alive. I personally rolled my '75 around a 90 degree corner once at 50 MPH and never touched the curb. The cop that caught me 1/4 mile down the street even seemed pretty impressed. (He let me go too).
