I just bought a 2004 Ranger, FX-4 Level 2, 4.0, Auto, and have noticed a slight vibration when I go from a complete stop. Is this normal or is it something I should have looked at?

Thanks

I would bring it back. It does not sound like a minor problem.

I have encountered this on a few Rangers. Turns out the driveshaft was needed to be replaced to fix them.

Post your VIN# here and I will run it through the system for you.

The trans was looked at as you can see and a repair made for something. I did not find any other info for you at the moment.
The limited slip rear may exhibit some, but not a bad sensation.

Took it in today to the local dealer and they hooked it up to the computer. The computer said that everything was operating properly. They told me that this was normal for all Rangers with this package. It still feels wrong to me, but I guess I need to go in and test drive a new one and see if it does the same thing.
