sup all ok fixed the a/c problem now lets see if anyone can help me with this problem 98 ford taurus wifes car when she starts going it goes real slow and wants to redline then it will kick in then it drives ok after that any suggestions???

Check the fluid level. Sound's like it's slipping in first gear!! Try changing the fluid and filter and pray.If this does not help it is internal and needs to go to a transmission shop.

well we went to autozone and had them read the computer check eng. and the code was po500 veh, speed censor anyone have a clue maybe how to fix that or even where it is at on the car?

If you get under the car and are looking up on the right side of the transmission housing......the long piece the has the axle sticking out of it going to the passenger side wheel. It is on TOP of the transmission there.
Removal:
Raise and support vehicle
Remove bolt retaining speed sensor mounting clip to transaxle.
Remove sensor and driven gear from transaxle.
Disconnect electrical connector and speedometer cable from speed sensor.
Disconnect speedometer cable by pulling it out of speed sensor. Do not attempt to remove spring retainer clip with speedometer cable in sensor.
Remove driven gear retainer, then the driven gear from sensor.
Installation
Position driven gear to speed sensor. Install gear retainer.
Connect electrical connector.
Ensure internal O-ring is properly seated in sensor housing. Snap speedometer cable into sensor housing.
Insert sensor assembly into transaxle housing. Install retaining bolt.
Lower vehicle. Let me know if this help's

haha oh is that all...lol ok man i will try that when i get off work tomorrow sounds pretty hard to me but i will try it thanks so much
