The turbo pipe keeps popping off the top of the intake manifold (not the air intake pipe to the throttle body). Is this caused by an overpressure situation that isn't being handled properly by the wastegate?

Had the same truck and problem. I believe you are talking about the rubber piece that seperates and attaches to the two pipes. Thers was a recall on that rubber piece.Put the new one on and had no problem after that.
