Hey Everyone,

I have a stock 96 GT Convertible. I've never done any modding, and I don't really know where to start. Any recommendations?

Stock GT had the 4.6L sohc. Best place to start is letting the engine breath. Getting a CAI(Cold Air Induction) and better flowing exhaust.

K&N are good for air filters and CAI's.

Try looking into chips for your car, too. They are a relatively cheap way to add some power.

If you don't already own a Ford (or Ford owned product), get one.

i also have a 96 gt ,first thing i did was replace my plenum with a performance intake, also cold air intake ,underdrive pulleys headers,x pipe and new exhaust, superchip, that shold bring you to about 300 hp in order to get any real horsepower your going to have to change the heads. the heads on a 96 are really restrictive good luck
