intermittant start issue - 9/3/2006 8:53:16 PM    rlevy64614   Posts: 85 Score: 0 Joined: 8/30/2006 Status: offline intermittant start issue. sometimes i turn the key and its dead dead dead, nothing. you turn five six seven eight times and finally it starts normal and its fine for weeks at a time. changed the starter, battery wires and neutral switch. dealer is stumped. 97 taurus nice car ran great for a decade. any ideas. help Post #: 1

RE: intermittant start issue - 9/9/2006 12:16:28 AM    rlevy64614   Posts: 85 Score: 0 Joined: 8/30/2006 Status: offline so far its fine. very very very s trange. mechanic says he has seen this in this car. when the motor mounts are messed up the motor moves and causes problems with various systems. since the two bad mounts on the passenger side h ave been changed its been ok but its only a day so far. ill update you after a few more days. very very very weird.
