hey all i'm just starting my automotive service course and for my year project I was going to fully rebuild my 5.0 in my tbird, the only problem is that I want it carburated when I'm finished, I know I'm going to have to convert over to duraspark ignition which doesn't bother me, however when I was looking for a camshaft I wanted to get a hydraulic roller one in the 1500-4000 RPM range. The problem was that no matter what camshaft I looked at they all said for computer controlled vehicles, would this really make much difference if it was computer controlled or is this just because it was a roller type only found in the computer controlled engines to begin with?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated
