92 ford E4od lock up clutch

ok i just got this thing for a killer deal. and it shutters like mad when the lock up clutch or converter clutch is in lockup. how can i disable the lock up to see if this is the problem???is there a plug or wire i can cut remove???

[sm=welcomesign.gif] You can try to pull plug's until the problem go's away. Or if you are skilled enough pull the pan to check it out.

The converter shudder is eliminated with an OD command to off? Converter shudder on higher mileage units isn't uncommon.. Sometimes a fluid change will help with the shudder if not to far gone, or an upgrade change to Mercon V, as the fluid breaks down over time/mileage from heat/shear/contamination ect...
