Don't have an owners manual for my 1999 Ford Explorer. No back-up lights, locks won't automatically lock as they used to, etc.. I'd like to check the fuse box located on the driver's door side but don't have a diagram of what goes where. Can you help?
Thanks,
Scott

If you know of Parts Source store they do print outs for free of diagrams for vehicles...I know they do electrical as I've printed it off before, but I'm not sure what else it prints off.
Also the library has ever book by Chilton and whoever for vehicle manuals and repair books.

I've basically pulled fuses and looked at them if I didn't know which fuse goes to what...lol..takes longer, but it has always worked. The centre part of the fuse has a u shaped line...but that line if broken if the fuse isn't good.

Sorry...maybe not much help...I'm sure someone in this site can probably help you out better :)

Thanks so much! That got it. I previously placed a fuse in the wrong (open) slot and was able to adjust it with the help of the diagram. I really appreciate your assistance.

I have searched for several days online. I have found what many like myself have been searching for, whickis the early model 91-94 explorer/ rangers fuse diagram, by the emergency brake.here it is:
http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/0b/a8/f3/0900823d800ba8f3/repairInfoPages.htm
(look under diagram for your applicable yr and model, then clickon diagram to enlarge)

the 96 and newer are on that ford site.
