i dont think it would make a difference...my GF has shorties in her truck, and ive seen her truck with long tube...and they still go down in the same place...so unless youre running open headers, then the shorties Might be a little better...but regardless of which style you have, if youre that bottomed out, youre in trouble. because you risk crushing your oil pan..then it wont matter what kind of headers you have...
