Hey all new member here. I've got a 1989 Ford F150 Supercab XLT 4x4 with the 5.0 V8 and 32" tires and I love it. Had it for about 2 years now and love how it attracts attention. Fun truck to drive, especially in the snow. The 4x4 makes you able to go just about anywhere to have fun and then drive out like its nothing. Been savin up though for the past 2 years since I bought this truck and really want a newer (around '99) F250...................someday, but will miss this truck when its gone. Fixed it up and added a lot since I've had it, and will hate to part with it. Glad to be a member of this forum.

Welcome Fordtruckpower ..

I've hated to get rid of just about every Ford truck I've ever had! Some I had built from the leaf spring bushings on up! All have been work horses and never let me down...

The 99 will be just as faithful.... You go'n gas or diesel?

Good luck with the new rig, and don't forget the pics.....

The only thing that scares me on the newer ford trucks is the tendency for the exhaust manifold studs to snap in head?

Thanks Hayapower for the welcome...yea I love the truck as you seem to have a passion too u know what I mean....I'd actually love to post pics but every time I try it says File is too big??? If u know how to correct this please let me know

As for the F-250 will probably go gas just because I can't afford a diesel and don't need the power of a diesel either. Thanks.........

Max. image size is 250KB and supports gif/txt/jpg images..

You can 'right click' most larger thumb nail/pictures, and select 'edit' in the options box.. If opened in 'Paint' then on the column heading, select 'image'.. Again then select stretch/skew and reduce the image size/s until its within size constraints using the stretch option,, only reduce the % numbers...

The 5.4 and 6.8 have been good performers in our fleet applications..

There may be a better way of doing a reduction, but this seems to work!!
