I think you guys need to worry about ford finding a better diesel engine more than dodge has to worry about anything.  Let's face it, the powerstroke is junk.

heres a intreasting fact--- chevys larger than a 4500 have a caterpillar engine in them..

Ford owns a portion of Cummins, but doesn't control the company. As for future Ford diesel engines, considering the fact that the President of Caterpillar was recently appointed to Ford's Board of Directors what the future holds should is pretty obvious.
