90 sable tranny fit in an 89 taurus w/ 3.0? - 1/29/2007 8:44:38 PM    98indy500   Posts: 4 Score: 0 Joined: 1/29/2007 Status: offline My question is will a tranny out of a 1990 Mercury sable with a 3.0 litre motor fit in a 1989 taurus that has a 3.0 litre motor as well? just wanted to know because I need to swap trannys if they will.  Thanks in advance.
