1990 sable axod transmission fit in a 89 taurus with an... - 1/30/2007 9:02:53 PM    98indy500   Posts: 4 Score: 0 Joined: 1/29/2007 Status: offline I have a 1989 ford taurus with a 3.0 litre engine and an axod transmission.  Will a transmission out of a 1990 mercury sable with a 3.0 litre engine fit in the 89 taurus or not?  Any help is appreciated thanks Post #: 1
