Hey there
I have a 98 Windstar with 112 000 miles on the o.d. and two days
ago the tranny started to slip from first gear to second, otherwise the
truck runs great at higher speeds.
The fluid level is o.k., smells and feels good and no external leaks anywhere.
Is this something that could be caused by a faulty sensor or module on the
tranny as I am told there are several electronic parts on the tranny.
Any ideas or am I looking at a new tranny.

Sorry, but most likely a new trans.......You can try over the counter conditioners but I would not put a lot of hope in them. But if it is still going at this time you are doing good.
